Fun fact:
Tomatoes are Poisonous to horses.
Tomatoes are part of the deadly NightShade family. That's why you don't (Or shouldn't) see leaves left of tomatoes in the market.
If you do see a steam or leaves, cut it out deep and wash the tomato.

Surely this is why there's no tomato paste on the pizza. Right?
